I AM TRAVELING TO KENYA WITH OCMC! (ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN MISSION CENTER)
His Grace Bishop Athanasios of Western Kenya has asked me to travel to Kenya to share my love and knowledge of icons with his flock from Nov. 28 – Dec, 8, 2018.
WHY GO TO AFRICA?
- The Orthodox Church in Kenya is young and growing vibrantly and exponentially.
- The Bishop is working to bring greater understanding of Orthodox faith and traditions to his people.
- Orthodox theology, the Bible and Lives of the Saints are traditionally taught through icons which also provide the path for prayer life for Orthodox Christians.
- To witness to and teach the Orthodox Youth of Kenya about icons.
